THURSDAY: Midtown - Urban Renewal

_COMMUNITY time facilitated by Maurice Turner from M.U.G.A.B.E.E. Artists and leaders of community groups exchange about their success or frustrations. We meet more of the leadership of Midtown Partners.
Thoughts on the work done by artists on and around the five Midtown tables and the Midtown benches. Conversations with "Creative Communities" representatives on what it is to be LOCAL?
One of the leaders of Midtown Partners, (a grassroots association which has been fighting to have a voice in the urban planning of the midtown neighborhoods), who did not appreciate daniel's representation of the C3 project and therefore pretty much boycotted it,  does not come to this interesting meeting, although it had been planned with her. Neither do most Midtown artists (a group of young artists who are renting studios in Midtown, but are considered as outsiders for their lack of consideration for the  locally rooted community). However members of the Jackson 2020 Racial Reconciliation discussion group attended.
