TUESDAY: Farish Street - The Arts

Patches of color and bits of PHOTOGRAPHS of present  Farish street are added  to the structures as preserved architectural details or proofs of misery. More bits can be found in the  Farish street MAILBOX.

During the morning CONVERSATIONS and the evening COMMUNITY  gatherings, artists speak to developers for a newFarish  street . There is plan to meet again.
Quotes from the videos: "Using the arts and history to build a common future affirms the importance of neighborhoods as basis for cultural and economic renewal, against the constant dangers of gentrification and yet an other example of displacement of historic communities from their legitimate grounds for the short term sake of profit and greed."
